Introduction:

When I first came across the news that Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand hit a $5 billion valuation, I was honestly amazed at how far the company has come in just a few years. It’s crazy to think that something that started as a shapewear line has turned into one of the biggest names in the fashion industry. I wanted to learn more about how this happened, so I found two articles, one from E! News and another from Reuters, that talked about the company’s recent growth and new funding. Both sources gave similar facts, but each had its own style and focus, which made it interesting to compare how they presented the same story.

Analysis: 

ChatGPT did a great job of summarizing these two articles I picked out about Kim Kardashian's SKIMS brand. Seeing how the company grew from a $4 billion valuation in 2023 to $5 billion in 2025 really shows how much work, strategy, and popularity went into building it. What stands out to me is how Kim Kardashian managed to turn her image and influence into a serious business that investors and consumers both trust. It’s honestly inspiring to see how far SKIMS has come and how fast it continues to rise. The only thing I found about using ChatGPT is that, unless you ask it to sound more human like most of the time it sounds like a robot wrote it. ChatGPT is normally more scientific-sounding, whereas when a human writes it, it is always going to sound biased because humans have too many opinions coming at them. The paper that I picked probably had 30 or more highly educated professionals who looked at it before it was even thought about being published. ChatGPT simplified very well and added just enough information to understand what's going on, but did not get bored with the information.
