Dirty Dancing (1987) . (n.d.). IMDb. Retrieved November 17, 2025, from https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092890/ Introduction When comparing my personal review of Dirty Dancing with the AI-generated review, it becomes clear that we both appreciate the film for similar reasons, yet describe it in very different ways. My perspective comes from years of personal connection, while the AI approaches the movie with a broader, more cinematic lens. Looking at both reviews side by side helps show how human experience and digital interpretation can overlap, differ, and even complement each other when discussing the same piece of film. This reflection highlights those similarities and differences to better understand how each voice captures the heart of Dirty Dancing . NICOLETTE MANSUETO. (n.d.).   KIM KARDASHIAN'S SKIMS BRAND REACHES $4 BILLION VALUATION . (2023, July 19). Fashionista. https://fashionista.com/2023/07/skims-reaches-four-billion-dollar-valuation Introduction: When I first came across the news that Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand hit a $5 billion valuation, I was honestly amazed at how far the company has come in just a few years. It’s crazy to think that something that started as a shapewear line has turned into one of the biggest names in the fashion industry. I wanted to learn more about how this happened, so I found two articles, one from E! News and another from Reuters , that talked about the company’s recent growth and new funding. Both sources gave similar facts, but each had its own style and focus, which made it interesting to compare how they presented the same story. Knight, K. (n.d.). E! News - Wikipedia. Retrieved November 12, 2025, from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E!_News E! Ne ws Summary According to E! News (2025), Kim Kardashian’s shapewear...

eBook - Worldwide . (2025, January). eBook - Worldwide. https://www.statifacts.com/outlook/ebook-market The ebook industry has come a long way from its early days of rapid growth. What started with devices like the Kindle has now become a steady part of the publishing world, with digital formats, ebooks, and audiobooks, making up around 14% of total sales and earning roughly $2.1 billion in 2024. In colleges, rising textbook costs pushed schools and publishers to find new solutions, leading to inclusive access programs and open educational resources (OER) that give students affordable, day-one access to materials. These changes have helped reduce the average cost of course materials to about $39 per class and have saved students an estimated $3 billion nationwide. When it comes to using ebooks in college classes, research shows mixed results. Many students still prefer printed books for deep reading and focus. Still, others appreciate the convenience of digital formats, especiall...

Learning Outcomes:     My media consumption habits influence my perceptions and behaviors because the media is everything nowadays. What's the first thing you do when you wake up, the majority of the time? Get on your phone. It has been instilled in us since we were babies that a phone is how you communicate. And the sad thing is, in today's day and age, without a cell phone, you might not succeed at anything you do in driveways because that is how everyone communicates. My screen time right now is 1 hour and 45 minutes, which isn't really that bad for a weekly average, but I have had screen times of 6 hours. I remember during COVID, my screen time was so bad that my mom had to legit take my phone out of my hands because I had nothing else to do besides be on our phones. I truly think that  COVID was the biggest iPhone booster. It got to the point where parents had to give their 3-year-old a phone so they could walk away from their kid for a second. The majority o...
